An 1880s Colonial styled Farmhouse to which we added a new wrap-around Porch at the rear. We then gutted the interior of that end of the house and put in a new Kitchen and Informal Dining Room. The chimney was part of a wall that separated the Kitchen from what felt like an isolated and virtually unused room at the rear of the house. We opened the wall up either side of the chimney to create one large, sunny room.
