This is a recent new house project near Park City, Utah, high in the mountains with dramatic views to the north and east. The design of the house references Craftsman Style lodge buildings of the late 19th and early 20th centuries found in the western mountains of the US and Canada. The house presents a smaller scale appearance on its western-facing entrance that belies its actual size as seen from the rear in the sloping hillside.
